Auto Champ - The Auto Champ is a semi-automatic bar chamfering machine. Just set it up for the desired size and push the bar to the stock stop.  The bar is detected, clamped, chamfered and released automatically!

Standard Equipment

• Standard cutter head
• 30 degree Chamfer tool with 3/4" square 8 sided carbide insert
• 3-Jaw Chuck, Chuck and bar remain stationary, the cutter revolves around the bar
• Single speed positive drive gear box (no belts) - variable speed optional.
• 350 RPM chamfers bar diameters up to 3"
• 230/460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz motor switch

The chamfer cycle time depends upon the material and depth of cut.  For an example, chamfering a 3/8" deep 30 degree chamfer on a cold rolled mild steel bar that is 1.5" in diameter takes only 5 seconds!
